HOW MICRONEEDLING WORKS
During this treatment, the use of tiny micro-needles puncture and create micro-tears to the lop layer of the skin to help stimulate the skins healing process which will produce collagen. This procedure is beneficial for improving skin texture, skin laxity, improving the appearance surgical and acne scarring and lightening of stretch marks. A series of sessions is recommended 4 weeks apart to get optimal results.
HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR TREATMENT
All topical retinols, AHAs and BHAs to be discontinued 5 days before your treatment. Make sure any botox or filler appointments are scheduled 14 days before or 14 days after your treatment.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Pregnancy and nursing, Accutane taken within 6 months of the procedure, Patients who are proned to keloids. Scleroderma, Patients who are under the care for; Diabetes, High or low blood pressure and heart disease would need clearance from their doctor. Active eczema, active Herpes outbreak, any moles and active acne in the area will not be gone over.
POST PROCEDURE
Topical retinols, AHAs and BHAs can be used after 72 hours post treatment, limit sun exposure, wear sunscreen. Use of hydrating products are recommended to use on areas that were treated for best healing results. Makeup can be worn 24 hours post treatment.
