HOW PMU WORKS

Permanent makeup is a cosmetic procedure similar to tattooing. It involves depositing pigment into the skin with a tattooing machine or a hand held tool. This procedure is used to enhance your natural beauty! We offer Microblading, Lip blush and Lash enhancement.

HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT

Avoid facials with retinols, chemical peels, and suntanning 2 weeks before your appointment. No alcohol or blood thinners within 24 hours of your appointment. No caffeine the day of your appointment.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Pregnancy or breast feeding, Diabetes, Epilepsy, Currently on blood thinners, Going through Chemotherapy, Herpes, Blood disorders, High blood pressure, Any skin conditions near the area that will be worked on, Autoimmue disease, Glaucoma, Individuals who use Accutane and any Acne medication, Allergies to topical anesthetics, History of Keloids, Bloodborne conditions such as HIV and Hepatitis, Cortisone Steroids, Use of any Retinols, AHAs and BHAs, Individuals under 18 years of age.

POST PROCEDURE

Use warm water and a mild cleanser to carefully cleanse the area, Do not scrub. Gently pat the area dry with a sterile gauze, do not rub or use a cloth towel. After a day, gently and lightly apply a gentle healing ointment to the tattoo, do not leave excess ointment on the skin. Do not use any heavy lotions or oily applications or petroleum jelly on the tattoo. Do not scratch or pick at the tattoo during the healing period, scabs will naturally fall off in 4-7 days. Avoid soaking tattoo in pools, spas, jacuzzis, hot tubs, beach water and baths. Avoid direct sunlight, after healing use sunscreen on the tattoo if sun exposure is expected. If for any reason you suspect an infection of the tattoo or its surrounding area, please seek medical attention.
